  I hereby announce that I have found the best pumpernickel bagel in the world.  Massive, soft inside with a good crisp exterior, and packed with caraway seeds to burst with flavor, this bagel is an absolute delight.  Their poppy-seed bagel is good as well, but I'm absolutely sold on the pumpernickel.  Oh - and the scallion cream cheese pairs perfectly with it, and is fresh, soft, and fluffy.
  I had a chance to chat with the owner, and she is local to the area having grown up in Atlantic Beach where her father used to also own a restaurant.  She and all her staff are friendly, fast, and efficient.
  I'm looking forward to trying their sandwiches, and hope that this can truly become a regular spot of mine for years to come. read less

  Staff is friendly and they have a small outdoor seating area to enjoy the beach scene and get some sun with your food. This is pretty much the one thing that sets this place apart from any other local spot.
  If you're in Rockaway and need a bite to eat this is honestly the place. They get you your food quickly and their bagels and sandwiches cant compete with anyones for flavor, texture and cost. Amazing and amazing value.
  Came and got a chicken parm and it was one of the best chicken parms i had in a long time. Prices were a little steep, but thats normal considering you right by the beach. The chicken cutlet was cooked to perfection and very crispy. Which i enjoyed. I also added garlic bread that made the sandwich 10x's better.
  If you in the area i highly recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and get your food here then getting it at the beach. The food is way better and cheaper.

I get here and I knew I made the right choice. One of those love at first sight moment before I even step in. I step in and greeted, kind looking staff. Then I get lost in the endless items listed on the menu. In the end Gerard lets me customize my own bagel sandwich. I see a line of people form after I come in and this man orders multiple cinnamon bagel so I get one of that too. I impatiently bite into my cinnamon bagel with strawberry cream cheese while waiting for my everything bagel with lettuce, tomato, scallion cream cheese, avocado, and egg. Wow. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My sandwich was also superb. Ingredients are fresh I cannot believe it! I can never get something this back at home in LA.   Had these guys cater a baby shower at a dance school where most guests were health conscious... Again, WHAT A SPREAD!!!! Amazing wraps and sandwich platters! Your typical side salads but a quinoa salad that everyone was surprised to see and even more surprised at how tasty it was!
  The variety was awesome and the customer service even better! No drama no stress and they stayed open later than usual to make our food and deliver it!!!
  First experienced them because they provide bagel trays, coffee and fruit platters at our school's PTA meetings!!!

Me and my wife lived off of this place for a good two years. Their tuna salad is probably the best I have ever tried. Eisenberg's in the city supposedly has the best tuna, but it doesn't compare to this place.
  We would regularly get their Windjammer which was absolutely delirious, both Cajun and regular. Their grilled  cheese is simple but good (great hangover food). Matter of fact, most of their specialty sandwiches were great. Their wings are also very good.
  Oh, and great bagels too.
  This place is in the middle of nowhere - but definitely check it out if you're in the area. read less
